Moody Air Force Base Challenge Coin

MOODY AIR FORCE BASE, GA COIN
Moody AFB, located in Georgia, provides worldwide force protection and combat search and rescue operations in support of US national security as well as Humanitarian efforts. On the front and surrounding the top of this coin are the words MOODY AIR FORCE BASE in silver on blue enamel. The word GEORGIA is engraved on the bottom. Inside the coin is a silhouette of the State of Georgia and on top, to the left, is the 93rd Air Ground Operations Wing and on the right is the 23rd Wing (Flying Tigers). On the back and surrounding this coin are the words of the 23rd Wing’s Mission: ATTACK, RESCUE, PREVAIL. Inside this coin are the assets that support the 23rd Wing’s mission: the HH-60 Pave Hawk, C-130 Hercules, and A-10 Thunderbolt (a.k.a. Warthog). This die struck brass alloy coin, in an antique silver finish, is 45mm.
